Dr. Dillon joined the SportsVet family in 2015. A resident of central Illinois, she developed a love for animals while working with horses and numerous other animals on her family's farm. Dr. Dillon graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine where she spent time cultivating a love for veterinary surgery and rehabilitation. Upon graduation Dr. Dillon began her veterinary career at a small animal practice in Decatur, IL. gaining experience in medicine and surgery by providing both general and on-call emergency care.  Since joining SportsVet Dr. Dillon has pursued specialty training in ultrasound, and became certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner.  Aside from surgery and rehabilitation Dr. Dillon is also passionate about pain management and educating owners about preventative medicine for healthy pets.  Dr. Dillon has two pets of her own; Trooper, a Miniature Dachshund, and Rookie, an Australian Cattle Dog.  Outside of the veterinary clinic, Dr. Dillon enjoys traveling, working out, and being outdoors with her pets and husband.
