Welcome to Doggy Daycare! At our daycare facility, we treat your pup to fun-filled days of safe socialization with other dogs, interactions with our caring team, exercise, and the opportunity to burn off plenty of their pent-up energy.
At SportsVet, your dog’s safety and well being is our first and foremost priority. That’s why we have a number of safety protocols in place such as constant supervision by qualified staff, pet-friendly cleaning supplies, floors made from compressed rubber to reduce the impact on the joints and prevent slipping.
Our spacious outdoor play area features K9Grass, a product specifically designed for dogs – it allows for excellent drainage and proper sanitation. We limit the number of daycare participants each day to assure that your furry baby receives the individual attention he/she deserves and all playtime is truly supervised. Our goal is for every dog that spends their day with us to have a safe, fun and relaxing experience.
Dogs like to play like dogs! They will run, chase, be chased, grab each others’ necks, fall down, bark, trip, pull on each others’ ears and tumble around. To pet parents, this play could look worrisome, but this is standard dog play! Our trained staff will closely monitor your pup to make sure they are safe and having fun playing with the other dogs in the room. If at any point your dog gets scared or overwhelmed, our staff will intervene.
In addition to outdoor freedom & playroom activities with their friends, your dog will enjoy a variety of themed parties and doggie photo ops throughout the year! Dogs are a really big deal around here, so we make a point to celebrate them.
Daycare drop-off begins at 7:00 am and all participants must be picked-up by 6:00pm. Daycare is available Monday through Friday.
We offer both half-day (less than 5 hours) and full day sessions to best meet you and your dog’s needs. Call for pricing. Daycare fees are due at the time of pick-up. Failure to pay your pet’s balance will result in your dog no longer being welcome at our facility.
While we strongly believe that there is no such thing as a bad breed or a bad dog, not every dog is suited for our off-leash, open-play environment. We take our doggie guests’ safety very seriously, so each one must first complete a thorough Meet & Greet to ensure that they are a good fit for daycare.
Dogs need to arrive on with a secure collar or harness in place. Dogs should be on a short leash (no longer than 6 feet, retractable leashes are not ideal). Your pet should remain on leash until we direct you to remove it.
We’ll discuss with you your dog’s daily routines, personality traits and habits. We will go over your dog’s medical history to be sure there isn’t anything that prevents him/her from safely participating in our daycare program. We will also double check to make sure all vaccination and parasite prevention requirements have been met.
Your dog will be introduced to a trial group setting. We will closely monitor your dog’s body language and how he/she reacts to other dogs. Dogs should reliably respond to voice commends from our staff. Dogs cannot exhibit any toy or food aggression or guarding behaviors.
